Q:  If I buy more than one Emergency Car Kit (ECK), do I have to pay for shipping of each kit?

  A: Shipping is free to most locations, but there is a nominal fee to a few locations.  If there is a shipping charge, it will be shown before the purchase is complete.

 

Q:  I have already shipped my car.  Will you ship my Emergency Car Kit to Germany.

A:  Of course.  All we need is your APO mailing address, and it’s on the way.

 

Q:  I am still in the U.S., what do I do?

A:  This is perfect for you!  We will ship your Emergency Car Kit to your U.S. address as long as you can be reached by the U.S. Postal Service.  Once you receive your Emergency Car Kit(s), just put it/them in the trunk of your car.  When your car gets to Germany, you’ll be all set for vehicle inspection.

 

Q:  Germany has specific requirements for the first aid kit and safety vest.  Does your Emergency Car Kit meet these requirements?

A:  Yes.  Our first aid kit is DIN 13164 compliant and our safety vest is DIN EN 471 compliant.  You’re all set to pass inspection.

 

Q:  What is the shipping time?

A:  Good question.  We will do everything we can to ship within 24 business hours of your order. Once your Emergency Car Kit is shipped, the amount of time is completely up to the post office.  Generally speaking, and this is not a promise, it takes between seven and ten days to get from the U.S. to an APO post office box in Germany.

 

Q: What is an APO?

A:  When you get to Germany, you should sign up for a mailbox at the post office.  Actually, your sponsor should set you up with your APO address before you arrive, which allows you to ship things to yourself at a much lower postage cost. This allows you to receive mail as if you were still in the U.S.  This is referred to as an APO address.  We will ship your Emergency Car Kit to your APO address without additional postage cost because the postage is the same as shipping to an address stateside.

 

Q:  What is the expiration date of the coupons included inside of the Bonus Envelope?

A:  Each coupon is being provided to you by the individual merchant named on the coupon.  The expiration date of the coupons in the Bonus Envelope is printed on the coupon.  Absence of an expiration date on a coupon is due to the company offering the coupon deciding not to print the expiration date on their coupon. Each individual merchant offering a coupon has provided us with their coupon to insert into the Bonus Envelope.  Acceptance of the coupons provided is strictly up to each individual merchant.  The coupons are being offered in good faith.  If you have any questions regarding any of the coupons, we ask that you speak with the company(ies) offering the coupon(s).  The seller of the Emergency Car Kit is in no way affiliated with any of the merchants providing coupons, and will not be responsible for any problems that may occur with individual merchants.
